What do you do if you see another transgender person out in the world? Do you approach, compliment their look, and hope to maybe make a cool, new trans friend? Or should you let them be? In this episode we'll discuss the tricky situation that can happen if you find yourself unexpectedly face to face with another transgender person in the wild.
In this episode we mention Callen Lorde Community Health Center, an LGBTQ health center in NYC that provides care regardless of ability to pay. They do amazing, sorely needed work for vulnerable communities. You can click here to donate and help support their work. Here are some other LGBTQ charaties as well.

Thank you for “transmission” - my support group has been wracking our brains for what to call this and how to respond - we agree that you *never* call attention to the other person, but wish we had a secret handshake or signal to show we are trans and safe to approach (without either of us overtly outing ourselves or the other). Community is so important and it sucks that we have this built-in barrier to building that community.
